Oriskany dive trips
We run dive trips to the Oriskany. We provide:
- A safe trip to the only aircraft carrier you can dive.
- The largest, fastest and most modern boat in the area.
- If needed:
- Air or Nitrox rental tanks.
- Weights and other gear for rent
You have to:
- Bring dive equipment that is in good working order, your own or rented.
- Be certified for the type of diving you plan to do.
- Show proof of recent dive experience.
Recreational diving
These are dives no deeper than 130' and bottom time within the NoDeco times of dive tables or dive computers. Air or Nitrox can be used.
2 tank dive trip
A 2 tank trip is two recreational dives with a one hour surface interval between the dives. Snacks and drinks are provided. The cost is $149.00.
3 tank dive trip
A 3 tank trip is three recreational dives with a one hour surface interval between the dives. During the 2nd surface interval a catered lunch is provided in addition to the normal snacks and drinks. The cost is $199.00.
Technical diving
Any diving that is not recreational, i.e. deeper than 130', longer bottom time than the No Deco limit or using Nitrox blends above 50% or helium blends.
We allow mixed recreational and technical diving on our trips. This means that a 2 tank recreational trip can be used as a technical dive trip with max run time of 120 minutes. A 3 tank trip consequently can be used as a two dive trip for technical divers, although the run time s has to be shorter that 120 min. The cost for a trip is the same as for recreational diving even when used for technical diving if you limit your gear to about the same amount as a sport diver, $149.00 and $199.00. If you want to bring multiple deco bottle and scooter etc the cost for a tech diver is $199.00 and $249.00.
